Field Art in Bavaria

Kasia-D

Munich, Germany

Artist's Description

Another in my series World from Above. A view of fields not long after take off from Munich airport on a July morning heading for Prague. The Bavarian farmers are unknown artists. Czech Airlines flight from Munich to Prague.

I travel a lot by air and different areas of Europe seem to have different field patterns. Mainly due to tradition or landscape. Small fields often indicate the tradition of dividing land each generation between the sons.

Nikon D200, Sigma 18-200mm. f/10, 1/125s. 65mm, ISO100. Post-pro in PS CS4 plus Nik Grad Filter.
