During a short stopover in Inverary the sun came through the clouds, which actually look more threatening than they actually were.
Inverary is located on a natural harbour on Loch Fyne, a long sea loch on the west coast of Scotland which is famous for its smoked haddock – the Finnan Haddie.
The two boats which belong to the Inverary Maritime Museum were briefly spotlighted and a touch of blue appeared beyond them too. You can find out more about the two Clyde puffers – “The Vital Spark and The Artic Penguin” – on the museum website.
