Vallay beach (Traigh Bhalaig) and salt marshes on the island of North Uist (Uibhist a Tuath) with views towards the islands of Berneray and Harris. North Uist is part of the Outer Hebrides island chain of the north west coast of Scotland. The beautiful sea pinks or thrift (armeria maritima) were in abundance.
The beaches here are amazing for long walks and lots of good photos, especially if you get weather like this of course.
