This view from above was taken from the top of the Olympic Tower in Munich, looking down to a pedestrian bridge across the busy ring road to the Olympic Park. I was attracted by the contrasting horizontal lines of the bridge and the roadway, and the black and white feel – although it is a colour photograph!

Captured with my first digital camera: Nikon Coolpix 885. Sold 2 greetings cards.

Brilliant picture, it is amazing how over looked this type of photography is.

  • Thank you. I’ll take that as a compliment:-) I see you like experimenting, so try looking at the “world from above”, from a bridge, a plane, or whatever. It is quite an experience and can take some time to re-orientate what you see. But well worth it!

Congrats on winning the bridge challenge in the Europa group.

  • Richard, thanks very much. I’m actually quite surprised and, of course, pleased given the many famous bridges in the contest!
