I am reading a modern thriller/spy story where an inclandestine meeting takes place in a Munich art gallery. This reminded me of a visit I made way back in 2006 to the Alte Pinakothek with paintings by some of my favourite old masters like Brueghel, Tintoretto, Dürer, Rubens and Raphael.
This triptych compiles three shots taken from the top of the stairs between the two main wings. One visitors descended slowly with another visitor just a few steps behind, then two other visitors descended from the other side. Seemingly a coincidence….
Location: Alte Pinakothek, Munich, Bavaria, Germany
Nikon D70, Sigma 18-200mm. f/7.1, 1/40s, ISO 200.
Post-pro crop, adjustments in CS4 with NikCollection. Additional layer from image. I used PhotoShop to crop the images, add layers (thank you Frannie) and try some artistic filters. I also used NikCollection Viveza to highlight certain areas. I created my own background layer from a small section of the criss-cross shadows in the hallway.
