Scotland has some of the most amazing beaches and coastal scenery in the world. This shot was captured in July 2012 when it was raining in so many places in the Uk and Europe. Although I should know better by now I got a touch of sunburn once again on that trip!
The composition was influenced by Kathie Nichols an amazing artist who enjoys finding textures and colours in rusty old objects, rocks, decaying leaves, etc. in paintings and photographs.
Musically influenced by Julie Fowlis whom I’d seen at the HebCelt Festival a couple of nights before. Tha Mo Ghaol Air Aird A’ Chuain – My Love is on the High Seas
