Close-up of a cactus that had blossomed overnight with more than a dozen buds waiting to open on a whole family of cactii. Located in my friends’ garden in the German Alps where they spend the summer out in the garden, at about 800m above sea level and are brought in for winter. It doesn’t seem to matter how cool it gets, how dry or how wet they prosper. Each year there are more offspring.
Location. Bad Kohlgrub, Bavaria, Germany.
Nikon D7000, Nikkor 18-200mm. Captured in Raw.
