The Olympic Village in Munich was built for the XXth Olympic Summer Games in 1972. Architects. Heinle, Wischer und Partner“.
Protected buildings since 1998 – which can make life hard for those who now own some of the appartments.
It is a mixture of student accommodation – mostly those bungalows in the foreground – and private ownership with around 6,000 residents in approx. 3,500 units. It is one of the popular areas to live in Munich especially for families with young children.
I translated the text from Olympisches Dorf I’m really surpised there is no real English version.
