Werdenfelser Lakes & Ponds, Bavaria
A selection of photos taken in an area of Upper Bavaria called Werdenfelser Land, near the German Alps. Well loved by day trippers from Munich, whether for swimming, cycling and walking in summer or skating and skiing in winter. There many ponds and lakes left behind by the ice-age or later.
My calendar includes shots of the following photogenic lakes: Rieg, Soiern, Staffel, Walchen and the mill pond in Uffing. But there are many more!

I’m very pleased you like this, Frankie. I compiled it for some friends who live in that beautiful area. November was taken the same day as January, but a wee bit later once the sun had gone. Real Blue Hour feeling:
