I was in the car
You were outside
I was approaching the stop light
As I saw you
Your long blond hair streaked brown
Blowing in the sunlight breeze
Like a freaking dream
It was unreal
You turned and looked right at me
Only an instant
A second
And I was hidden behind a truck
Waiting
1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Counting the seconds until the light changed
And I drove off
Thinking
That wasn’t what I imagined
But it was still a strange wish come true…
