All my life I have enjoyed drawing and painting. They are a part of me, can’t live without them. When life gets too hectic I clear the kitchen table and get out my pastels or my tubes of acrylic and I leave the world around me, submerge in tales of color. My world, no doubt, is truly made of color.
Birds swarm around me, they start singing and flapping their colorful wings, they were most certainly my first love when I started out painting seriously. Their feathers are so intricate and most of them so colorful that I just had to paint them over and over. My first love affair was with pastel sticks, until later the urge came to explore watercolors and acrylics and color pencils. And there is still so much to be discovered: ink and computers…….
