Tide Line

“Tide line” is all about the aesthetic effect of the sea moving gracefully over the sand. The painting is divided into three sections. The top and bottom calmly restrain the fluctuating motions of the middle

What a wonderful painting Karsten. The imaginitive tideline provides definition, the depth you have achieved is marvellous…staring at the work I can see more and more in the “sand” and “water”.

The isolation, the peace, the sound of the surf! The line defining the touch of the wave, gentle but persuasive. A harmony of the water and the sand, just a slight quarrel at first meeting. A magnificent representation of a seascape Karsten!!
