    This is wonderful work Karolina…...I also noticed the standing figure like Kyle….and the green with white glowing eyes seems to be looking over the figures shoulder. Behind it feels like a doorway…....I would love to study this more. Did you have anything in mind when you painted it? Love the wonderful red!! Very nice balance of shapes.

    Thank you Elizabeth! I painted this during my time as an art major at UW. It was for an assignment- studying cubism. And it’s based off of a figure study as well. Part of what I had in mind was to de-construct the figure as well as adding an abstract face in the background… another part of it was focusing on the main parts of a female body that are usually oggled at and giving off of the impression that they’re staring right back at the viewer.
