Come

“This day should have been, one of the greatest of my life!
But evil was lurking,
As usual, to catch him of balance!
One look, and the the day became the vilest of all!
Eyes, looks, killing my soul…
My heart was bleeding once more!
Day in and day out,
Attacks were coming,
Evil seem to succeed…
Screams,
Broken heart,
Pearls of aching spirit…
Rubies of blood,
Forgotten cross…
Calvary seemed so far at that moment!
His eyes, looking at me,
His arms carrying me…
Wilderness and solitude!
Ô Lord, where are you,
When I am pierced by the foe?
You said:” I will not allow you to be tested, beyond what you can bear"!
But…it is too much,Ô Lord!
Take my life!
Strength is leaving me…
I am, but a shadow,
Abandoned, by the one who has been,
My precious…
Come and rescue me, from this evil…
I can bear it no longer!
Yet, you said: “I will never leave you, nor forsake you”!
You are my fortress, Ô Lord!
You are my salvation!
You are the Lion of Judah!
You are, the balm of Gilead!
Come and refresh, your servant!
Eyes are like swords…
Piercing, your trust!
Words, are like a furnace,
Where one easily slips into!
You are my God,
Come to me Ô Lord!
Come swiftly to my aid…
I shall praise you …yet again"!
