I did a bit of the same thing, with a painting of a scene kid. Fun, isn’t it? Great results here, by the way.

I have seen many fractals and it creates a sort of anguish in myself… I do not know why… may be the artificial evolvement of them… the too determined concept of the solution of their shapes. But I am puzzle about how could you do this, even you have told it. Was it there the girl’s portrait… or did you paint it…. Are the fractals just the texturized features, or are the fractals the shape of the head too?
Rosa (love this one though… and much)

Just playing, hmm? I look forward to seeing what you really work at. I like the face involved, not too into fractal art myself, but you’re taking it somewhere here. Keep it up!

I’m very impressed, Karl. I’ve only recently started experimenting with Poser … your work reminds me a little of AlNeami … if I haven’t spelt his name right, it’s in my favourites!

This is fantastic. Was it difficult to do?
Karl Eschenbach replied
It’s not so difficult as far as technique goes: on Photoshop or Photoshop Elements (some program that supports layers) put the fractal as a separate layer on top of the face, then play around with the different layer styles to get the effect you like best. But finding a pattern to fit the face, then manipulating the pattern to fit it better, that’s the hardest part.
Rozmrr
I have done loads of layering but have never tried to get the effect that you have achieved.
Thanks for taking time to reply.
