After 14 years...
The position is no longer required. I resisted the move out west when told “if you want job security you will move” and since have seen a reduction in the support for my lab.
This morning under the guise of “economic” instability my position was eliminated. I hope they don’t call and ask for help regarding the damn place, for 14 years I was the only one who ran it…
Rather frustrated at the moment.

I am so sorry this happened Karl. It is happening all over our country at this time at a rampid pace. I have never seen things in such a state of distress as I have over the past several mths or more people than I ever thought I would. Perhaps sooner than later things will start to turn around.. I myself am hanging on by a very weak shoe string. My thoughts go out to you on this.

Thanks LJ and thanks for the call. It has bee crazy here as I made s boat load of friends over the 14 years at the company and even more in the 20 while in the dynamic industry. I’ve been wanting to phone back but me cell is either ringing from vendors who want to hire me or it being on the charger.
Sometime Monday? I could use that voice of yours…
