My motivation: A nagging and persisting desire to create art.

What my work represents: If only I could crawl into the minds of those that view my art so I could see what they see I would know what it represents. Until then my art is who I am.

Be bold and take chances – this is art and your ideas could inspire the masses!

The tools of my trade:

Mamiya 645 medium format camera with the ZD digital back and a couple of lenes.

Nikon D2Xs and Nikon D70s with many lenses to fit the shoot.

My computers… two MAC desktops one a G4 the other a dual quad running full time and a MAC Powerbook for travel. I have 6 terrabytes of HD storage.

I use Photoshop CS3 Professional, Aperature, Lightroom, Final Cut Studio and for 3D work I use Solidworks, Lightwave3D, RhinoCAD and Poser.

Studio lighting by Pro Photo… 2500 ws charge unit and 3 studio lights, with additional lighting by Opus.

For oil paintings I use Rembrandt Oils exclusively and have two easels with work in progress continually.

For ink and pastels I use what ever I can get my hands on.

I am a member of: The Scarab Club in the art district of Detroit, MI and the Huron Valley Council for the Arts in White late, MI. After an inspiring month in Europe traveling by car and photographing everything I could see I decided to return to school and work toward my art degree. I was in Europe in March 2007 and started at the Academy of Art University in May. I have a 1000 sq. ft. studio in my home that I use for photography oil painting and digital media as well as music, I play a little guitar and am working on my first CD. I am working on several commissioned pieces for individuals and institutions.

I accept commissioned work in all aspects of art.
