This image was taken during a depressive episode when I looked at the gerbera my niece had picked for me. It laid on my vanity, wilting and I thought “That’s exactly how I feel.” Fortunately my camera was handy and I took a couple of shots, then played with them a bit. The result being this image.

It’s an interesting mind set when in the midst of depression, creativity flows. It’s a positive that results from a negative, which then makes me ask if the negative is truly a negative.
