Everyone experiences sadness, depression, a case of the blues. It’s a part of life. Then there’s clinical depression and/or bipolar depression. This painting is an attempt to express the deep sadness that comes for no reason but is just there. Having just experienced a more intense mixed episode I resorted to one of my outlets-painting. This is one of the results. Inevitably when I post something gloomy and dark, I receive comments trying to encourage me, which is very kind, please rest assured I’m alright.
