A late night effort that came together far easier than anticipated. A little backlightiing, always contrast and bright adjustments, sepia and a black and white antique filter as well as a bit of soft vignetting.
Personal note of interest to me: This is a shot of a motorcycle given to my son. He was delighted and had every intention of repairing it and using it for actual transportation. Then came along a young lady, then marriage to said young lady and now a son with her. So, motorcycles have gone on the back burner for now. I made a t-shirt with this image and gave it to him for Christmas. He loved it. I wish I’d had a camera at the ready. His wife likes it too—he’s not off riding this one. :)
oohh, can I have a ride. Excellent treatment on this. And karen is right, it would look excellent on a T-shirt. I would get one for my son. He loves bikes. x
Thanks! Per Karen’s suggestion I am trying to figure out the T-shirt thing. This is the bike my son was going to fix up but it sits in my backyard since he’s gotten married and had a child. Funny how our priorities change! LOL It would make a great gift for him.
Absolutely love this…..the colour and the tones and the feel of the whole piece, maybe your son will take it up as a hobby again one day when his family are a little bit older….nicely done…..Maureen:))
I’m so glad you like it—thanks for the fave, too! :) If the motorcycle dream was a strong one, I do hope as you say he will take it up again later.

With reminders left behind to haunt our days and our nights, are the dreams ever really gone? Excellent work!
Thank you, Roy. You’re right, of course, dreams are never really gone—perhaps just the opportunities.
