Published!--sort of
I recently finished a rather exciting endeavor. I proof read a book for a friend. Most people stare at me wondering if I took my medication when I say proof reading is exciting, but I’m sure there are a few of you out there who would agree. :) :
The book, Bipolar in Order is now published and out. I am giddy about being listed as one of the editors in the acknowledges page. My name in print! Yippie! It may not be a book I wrote, but it is pretty wonderful nonetheless.
Bipolar in Order is Tom Wootton’s third book. I didn’t know him before he wrote the first two or I’d have proof read those, as well. (Personally, I know they could have used my touch, but I won’t say a thing! LOL)
You won’t be able to see my name, Kareen Carter, on this link but I thought I’d let you have a look see, anyway.
Thanks for allowing me a little bit of bragging here and thanks for reading. However, I am now hesitant to press the “save this entry” button because I just know there will be a mistake as big as day for everyone to see, everyone but me that is!

Good for you Karirose!!! I know from recent experience how challenging that process is!

Thank you, Leon! Yes, it became more and more challenging as the deadline approached. All quite exciting at the same time.

Karirose replied
Thanks, Rey! You know, they say “simple minds like simple pleasures.” I suppose getting my name in print is a simple pleasure. But it is certainly making me smile. And yes, I’ve been taking my meds! :D
