Another in my series about a bride who has been left at the altar.
Including the glass was a decision I made. The glass was featured already in Jilted: dumped (also up at redbubble).
The glass also symbolizes “celebrating a happy occasion” or the opposite “drowning yourself in sorrow”.

back, bare, bride, holding on, hurt, jilted, self, vulnerable, wine

I’m a Dutch portraiture & lifestyle photographer with an appreciation for illustrations, paintings, drawings. I have a weakness for soft tones and that romantic, gentle atmosphere when I create photos. I also enjoy photographing moments, and the places I go.

Excellently done. Love th concept: very well executed. The splash of colour provided by the wine is a perfect touch.

Love the muted tones and the faint scratch marks on the models back. Have to agree with micklyn, a powerful image.

sad theme contrasted with a lovely form seems to deepen the sense of loss. √

    I hope it isn’t biographical.
