This was a surprise favorite at our last exhibition. I didn’t really think it was good, and still needed work, but then decided to put it into the show, when my husband told me it was lovely, and I should put it in. Now after having many people tell me they would have bought it and how much they love it, I am looking at it with more appreciation, and maybe I’m onto something. Feedback from others is an important part of my journey, and helps me to know when I get it right. The ultimate affirmation is when someone buys a painting. Will try to do more in this style. I read somewhere once that the best paintings happen when you no longer know what you are doing…I can attest to that.
