I was born in Germany in 1956. When I was 11 years old, my family emigrated to Canada, where I lived for 25 years.
I’ve been a professional artist since 1990, when I started doing portraits.
I’ve lived in Melbourne, Australia since 1993 and am fortunate to have a studio, where I paint and teach art classes.
My favorite medium is watercolour, but I also enjoy acrylics and mixed media. I ’m a member of Hobsons Bay Arts Society, and have been teaching watercolour classes since 2007. I regularly show and sell my work in art shows and exhibitions and also do commissions.
My influences are Picasso, Paul Klee and Georgia O’Keefe, but I also find inspiration from many artists, traditional , contemporary or otherwise.
My other webpage where I show my work is http://karincharlotte.deviantart.com .
