lovely write Karin :)
thanks so much Larry :)
Very lovely Karin – though I’d often associate Chinese with red … but hey – just add blue in there. Maybe if Japanese were blue I’d be purple :P
Speaking of which I finally added a poem to that SP of mine – and as you may remember in there I depicted the Japanese side with day (so that would blue sky…) and the Chinese side with night and red lanterns.
lol….i don’t know, i really don’t know what comes out of me or why half the time, i really try not to “think” when I write, or that thwarts the process….the less I think the better, then it flows, but sometimes, it doesn’t make sense, and I might have to change things afterwards….. I’ve never really heard or seen of Chinese purple myself, but I wrote this when I was grieving over the death of my RB friend and writer iAn Derrick, because I think or thought, he’d like a poem like this and have fun with ith :)
Aww, sorry to hear about the passing of your RB friend. It is a funny thing, the way sometimes sad moments stimulate our thoughts. And speaking of things that don’t make sense, I told you in another writing of yours that your first lines made me think of something new, well that new idea is based on a story that incorporates the theme of things not making sense – although I’m not using that theme particularly for inspiration. It won’t be my next upload though; I have something else in mind for my next upload; and some time after that I’ll upload my new idea – hopefully.
Thanks Mui-Ling, it was quite some time ago now, but very sad at the time, he’d suffered a long time with cancer and never complained, a special person who was always young at heart, I did not see the age, just the spirit inside. ….oh that’s interesting about the ‘not making sense thingy’ lol… okey doke, I’ll look forward to both! :)
