the whale's heart

I’ll swim through his veins to the centre of the universe
Where everything is paid for and nothing but free
Cos the whale’s heart is big, it’s as big as the three of us
Where everything is paid for, in the deep blue of sea

We’ll go where there isn’t a need for perfection
where nothing can wear out and there’s no destruction
let’s head for the place where there is no infection
of purile dysfunction and lesions of hate

Go where the flow is as pure as the source
where there’s nothing contaminating purities’ force
into in-fin-ity and beyond that I see
the colours are welcoming both you and me

I’ll swim through his veins to the centre of the universe
Where everything is paid for and nothing but free
Cos the whale’s heart is big, it’s as big as the three of us
Where everything is paid for, in the deep blue of sea

inspired by my niece Maya, who just informed me that the heart of a blue whale is possibly the size of 3 humans crouching, and that their veins are so large, a human could swim through them!
