Soft on my lips

Season my life with Salt from the sea
add coconut cream and Thai curry leaf
the colours and warmth of spices abroad
the limes and the tartness of sweet lemon curd

Add rhymes and reasons and poems and prose
the goodness of sugary petal tipped rose
the soothing smooth roundness of honey that drips
feels good in my tummy and soft on my lips

  • thank you so much lk!! haha…it seemed liked the odd word out but it seemed to fit in there just right, i love the irreverance of a slipped word that mismatches :)
