yayauhqui sky

May yields to June
warmish days grow frosty
cerulean skies pale to silver
stars flash diamond like in
the yayauhqui sky
lovers sigh

It took me a moment to remember that our seasons are opposite as I read of warmish days growing frosty in June – lol – as, of course, here we are heating up. But I love the imagery Karin and your poem transports me to another time and place. xox

  • Lol yes that would definitely sound funny to you guys over there!!
If I’d have left the ref out to the May/jun it wouldn’t have sounded quite so weird ::))
aaw thx so much I’m glad it transported you dear Lianne, if just for a quiet moment….xx
