Once upon a time, a tiny silver sparrow with wings of precious metal rested on her elephant friend. She was unable to fly, because the metal of her wings, made her little frame far too heavy, she was completely flightless and could only stumble and trip. Her elephant friend did not mind carrying the silver sparrow’s minute frame, he felt it no burden and never complained. The silver sparrow sang beautiful songs to the elephant as her way of reciprocating the favour and the two spent long hours in contemplation, the larger friend found the songs soothing, the tiny silver bird never felt so alive or so cherished as when she sang.
The silver sparrow sounded, if you can imagine this, something like a flute, mixed with harp, violin, a sprinkling of piano, the sound of clouds converging with a touch of waterfall. Her sound was very unique.
In the middle of her song, her elephant friend would sometimes lay down and felt at those times that he had entered a sublime state, similar to nirvana. The bird, at those times, felt she was ministering to her large friend in a special way that brought him divine peace and rest. It was a beautiful match.
That one so large and heavy, could carry one so small and heavy, both burdened with heavy weights, the larger creature lightens the load physically for the smaller animal, and the smaller creature lightens the load spiritually for the larger animal. This is a heavenly event.
