Love is so powerful…here is a sweet girl, she is The Bird Whisperer, she understands nature and has healing in her heart and hands, when she touches an injured animal, she can hear their troubles and help. She has special eyes, that are full of love, compassion and empathy, just one look and one touch the little birds are healed, with love.

It’s a joy and privilege to create little offerings to share, a taste of nostalgia, a little warmth for the heart in a moment of reflection. I enjoy illustrating for children and the inner child.

A new classic, Karin. I love the geometric pattern in her dress, and her button-up, glamorous gloves, the feathers decorating her hair, and that bird’s nest. It looks real. Now you know there is a loving connection when a bird allows her to pick up the nest, egg and all. Really special artwork.
thank you so much dear Frannie! When I lived at home, our family had a white cockatoo as our pet, she wasn’t quite as friendly as the one in the picture but was endeared very much to our hearts….she didn’t like girls, only Dad …she laid one egg every year in the Spring, which of course never hatched (sad) but we always thought she was in love with Dad….because she would react to him in a loving manner, whereas she would chase us around the yard and try to bite our toes …I think she didn’t like dresses, they scared her blowing in the wind… ;)

It would be wonderful have a power like hers. If everything we do first come from the mind, perhaps it is no wonder there is so much in her head – and love how big those eyes open; so full of compassion…
Thank you so much Mui-Ling…it would be nice, some people do seem to have a special rapport with animals, I wish I had more of that….when I see someone who’s confident around animals, I wish I could be moreseo, but I am still a little timid. Not so with Basil the Ballerina Bum (my cat) or Nudgie our fluffy black and white doggie, who is more like a cute panda than anything else…I am fine with them… :)
