Here’s the other more colourful version of this design Paper Hearts and Pretty Wings
The other day something rather fabulous happened, I was cleaning out old drawers when I came across birthday cards of mine from when I was 7 years old (40 years ago!!!!) and upon nearly all of them, were sweet what we now observe as ‘vintage’ style girls…..I think they’ve influenced this somehow. This was very bright, but I’ve toned the colours down and given it a vintage look and feel. I hope you like it. I also have the brighter coloured one, in case anyone’s interested in seeing that also.
Painted on the iPad in Procreate and given a treatment in Nik Color Efex to change her bright tones into more subtle vintage tones, this sweet vintage girl, could be a Christmas angel, or a little fairy, she is full of sweet loving care and would make a sweet addition to a little girls room or baby nursery…a nice welcome card for a new baby girl.

thank you Shaona, it was one of those moments, that I wasn’t expecting….I even found a little picture that I’d cut out of a pair of shoes I was longing for….they were round toed, lace ups, purple and red, and very very trendy back in those days, and I did get them! :) x
