I stood tall while all else diminished
I knew not how to run away
Nor did my soul understand composure
or compulsion, I stood without malice
in the field of light and of destruction
unperturbed, I glowed, a light to the living
and a comfort to the lost

Hehe… remember when I told you I was thinking of a new piece, and then later said I changed my mind because I didn’t like my image? Well this piece is reminding me a bit of what I wanted to do. I may just go a take a photo at some point later to accompany my writing and post it later. All that said I won’t say my thoughts too much now, but this is very lovely :)

  • lol…well that is interesting Mui-Ling, there’s that pool of consciousness happening again, I’ll look forward to it :) …and thank you! :)

WOW! Stunning, Karin, this is so lovely – the tones, composition and textures have transformed a lone tree into an amazing artwork. Beautiful x :)

  • Thank you so much Adriana! I’m so happy you like it, it was quite a drive to find some ‘lone’ trees lol….I found them in sets of 3 and 5 and an odd 1 here and there, but often you can’t stop the car on the side of the road when you see them (as there’s nowhere to pull over) …so it’s a bit tricky. Times like this, you realise how lucky people are who live on properties in the country! xx
