chinese lantern by © Karin Taylor

I took this photography of a beautiful, perfect, little chinese lantern flower….it was hidden right down the back of the garden, no-one knew it was there…..but it stood right out to me, in the dark foliage….beautiful it was….such a thing of beauty it stole my heart for a few moments and I thought of nothing else. I hope you like this little light in darkness, I gave it a vintage treatment in Nik Color Efex Pro 4 and Photoshop CS4 and used my camera on macro setting (Canon G11 PowerShot)

This is gorgeous Karin. The flower looks just like a lampshade or I could see a girly body where the stalk is and it’d be a pretty skirt. LOL! Fave for sure.

  • aw thank you very much Elaine!! :)

It looks as if it’s sewn from velvet and satin.
