I’m not sure at all what this is, it could be a gazania from a similar family to daisies, I got some great shots of these pretty things….the bushy clump was quite unattractive, until you looked deeper and harder, and saw these magical blossoms, unfolding and dying….in the cycle of life. It was hard not to be impressed by their beauty, hidden just beneath the cloak of a rather unattractive first appearance…….a life lesson for me.

Update: I now think these might be african daisies (osteospermum ecklonis)

    Very nice. As neat as it is to see the petals that were curled; I do like the elegance of the petals hear sprouting as they look up.
