a peacock feather I took a photo of yesterday, as I love them…this is actually an artificial one would you believe…..hard to imagine this is synthetic, as it looks so real. Textures from Shadowhouse Creations and Flypaper. I hope you like. Thanks for visiting!

It’s a joy and privilege to create little offerings to share, a taste of nostalgia, a little warmth for the heart in a moment of reflection. I enjoy illustrating for children and the inner child.

It looked like an eye in the thumbnail image. Lovely capture.

  • Christina, that’s really interesting that it looked like an eye, cos I think that is what they are meant to look like, for the peacock’s protection from other animals (not sure, don’t quote me!!) lol :) …thank you soo much! :)

  • thanks so much Adriana! Yes, I bought it in a shop and it has all these fluffy feathers toward the lower part of the stem….it does look very real tho :) x

Wow! What a resplendent display of a feather from one of the most gorgeous birds in the world…at least they think they are! Love it! From the thumbnail I initially thought it was some sort of eye with VERY long eyelashes! Excellent and so very creative!

  • thank you so much Karen I always love it when you comment, I really enjoy reading your lovely responses! :)
