I took this photograph yesterday of a crop of gorgeous daisies, in between gales of wind that made them dance! I love the one in the centre that is beginning to wither, it seems to be speaking to me of aging gracefully and even though it’s being buffeted by the wind, it is amongst family and friends….it seemed to me, a comforting place to be. Oh dear, I have such a fondness for daisies, it’s a bit like love….I can’t help myself, but fall for these beautiful creations….these simple yet lovely things, always win my heart…..

Well daisies have often appeared in your art (or at least flowers that look like daisies..) so it is no wonder you capture them so beautifully! I also like the blueish tones you got on them to contrast with their centers…

  • that’s true Mui-Ling, I never really ‘copy’ or ‘study’ them for my drawings, so it’s mostly just my own imagination about how I ‘supposed’ they look… well not until now…I thought these were so sweet :) Thanks so much.. :)
