It’s funny how things turn out sometimes. When I took this, I was really disappointed because the wind came along and blew some of the seeds away, just before I pressed the button to capture this dandelion.

Still, I thought it was a sweet composition and nice and sharp, so I hung onto it and decided to place around with it in Photoshop CS4 and Nik Color Efex Pro 4 to see what might be achieved. I had no intention of this happening, but to me, it looked like it was taking on the shape of the moon and with each adjustment looked more and more like a 3/4 moon, hence the title. I hope you like it. Something a bit different! ;)
