“love letter” is a macro photo of one of my tiny little handmade paper scrolls, tied together with a strip from a dried teabag. I have added the little hearts and text and overlays in Photoshop CS4 with some textures from Shadowhouse Creations and other filters used were from Nik Color Efex Pro 4.

You really are so very creative Karin. I wish I had your imagination. This is another lovely image.

  • thank you so much Elaine, it’s the same old imagination I had when I was little I guess, lol….i used to think I had no imagination compared to other people, now I realise I must have some but I always thought it was in very small measure within me….i think hanging around other creatives whets your creative juices and stimulates your imagination too :)

Simple things can be transformed beautifully, and love that you re-used a dried teabag. Very lovely work Karin xx

  • thank you so much Mui-Ling….I made these originally to put little hopes and dreams and worries on, to tie them up and put them in a jar, in the hopes that I would go back years later and unravel them, to see what worries never evolved, what hopes and dreams were/weren’t fulfilled….but I loved the idea that the scroll could be a message of love imparted from one soul to another x
