Welcome to my world in pictures
…to touch a heart, to spin a dream, to share a thought, a love, a special memory..these are the things that make life meaningful….connecting through eyes, which i paint into the girls or the creatures I create like “The Love Bird” above…making that connection is everything for me
.. . . . . .
somewhere in the wilds of a far off magical place, dwells a young girl child from a tribe that understands the elephants’ language
the little bird is a messenger from this world to hers, he brings me word of her when sleep is troubled and sends the comfort of birdsong
. . . . . . . .
elephant child began as a pencil drawing in my visual art diary (about A3 size) photographed, uploaded and painted in Photoshop using my wacom tablet and pen

It’s a joy and privilege to create little offerings to share, a taste of nostalgia, a little warmth for the heart in a moment of reflection. I enjoy illustrating for children and the inner child.

I love the little birdie so much it’s so cute. Your work just keeps going from strength to strength. Love the designs and the kt. The colouring is supberb. You give us the feeling that the elephant and the girl are as one. Another very special creation.
thank you so much Cate, I’m so happy you like it and my new works, this is number 4 of around 50 new works I am currently painting and uploading :)
I’m looking forward each day to choosing one of my drawings which speaks
to me on that day, and gently colouring it with love :) xxx

She seems fearful Karin, hanging on to the paisley elephant for dear life, a beautiful and remarkable work to stir the emotions :) x
Matt, thank you so much, you sense there’s a lot of emotion in this, I feel it too…there is a little story says, that the paisley comes alive at night and floats on forest trees, to become eyes and ears…..protecting her little village….and in the day, the elephant child loves and warms the elephant to energise it, for the night’s dark work :)
