‘’Asian Series’ card by Karin Taylor
This is one of my favourite pieces in the oriental series.
Two little friends falling asleep in their little boats whilst fishing for their supper.
I really enjoyed mixing the colours for this painting, I used colour swatches from paint charts to decide on the colour scheme, and just went to work intuitively mixing til I got the right colours…they are grungier than my other pics and I love the effect…hope you like them too :D

your work is brilliant
although i’m a gemini (but come to think of it, it is twins in a way) this would make a great one for pisces! have you ever thought about doing the zodiacs? its a big challenge, but rewarding. chinese zodiac would be great too!
