It’s a joy and privilege to create little offerings to share, a taste of nostalgia, a little warmth for the heart in a moment of reflection. I enjoy illustrating for children and the inner child.

Pencil drawings are like the B&W of photography.
To see a colour drawing in its pencil drawing state allows the viewer to look more directly at the shading, the the patterns, the basic design and
admire it all the more. SWEET PERFECTION, Karin.
Hi P I just love reading your replies…. Often think I should grab a cuppa and come back to them to just enjoy them more fully… They are such a great read and always exceedingly encouraging for me…
Thank you so much for your great insight about drawings in the raw!!!

Hi Karin, Pencil drawings are sooooooooooo many levels above B&W photography. Its one thing to have the drawing idea in ones head and then even more so to be able to translate it to the page. When I see creativity I like to encourage it and praise it – hopefully my words inspire and instill the ‘Smile Factor’ in the artist – which encourgages a talent such as yours. To create drawings with such an instantly recognisable style is a gift.
Nice – you have a very distinct style. THis is very Zen.
thx very much Evelyn, it’s good to see you :)

I really love this style, I would love to have like a bed spread with this design on or a pillow…or just on my wall :) lovely! You’re really talented.

I love this one. My little sister is learning Japanese right now and it reminds me of us together as geishas. (we’d like to be them for Halloween!) I love your style!
