Also inspired by myself and my experience of having bugs and insects come to try and take up residence in my ears… scrabbling around in there, getting all comfy…while I’m going crazy…click beetles, houseflies and spiders so far have all tried this… lol
This is a girl who has an affinity with nature, and as the summer breezes begin to blow here in Australia…….the animals are drawn to live in her hair thinking that it must be branches of a tree… yes, my hair’s that dry… :)
I thought it a fitting one for summer, hope you like her…
Pencil drawing took me about 3 hours

Wow Sassie, this is just so special!! Love the way her hair catches the rain! And yet it is nourishing the plants and the birds so it is still a good rain!! And one of my favourite songs!!! Synchronicity at play!! (something wrong with the link though, not playing….) This reminds me a bit of my cousin, Wendy…. I don’t know why but it does!!! Especially in the sketch!!
