It’s a joy and privilege to create little offerings to share, a taste of nostalgia, a little warmth for the heart in a moment of reflection. I enjoy illustrating for children and the inner child.

Should we go in or not?…I LOVE it…..you are a genuis…but you know that….
lol, that’s right Janis.. thank you!!
i just found out that my mum has a photo of a similar image when I was 3 with her at the beach in Yamba, on our first family holiday, she is having dad copy it and send it to me, and i’ll post it here and perhaps with a little ‘memories’ journal about it all, as I have no memory of mum and I doing this, only the photo to prove it happened. I have one memory of that time, but its of me catching my first fish with my father :) x

As always, searching out the little details in your work is a wonderful little adventure in itself. Love the little flower the toddler is holding and the delicate fringing on the towel.
Beautiful work Karin.
