Even Angels Get the Blues is a mixed media production on brown paper.
I’ve used white acrylic gesso to undercoat haphazardly, then applied felt tip pen, charcoal and pastels to fill in and shade….
It’s sad I know, but even angels get the blues …

Just had to comment again… those eyes are just gorgeous… perhaps we need some sun to blow away the blues?!
yes, she needs a good dose of sunshine and some tlc timeout etc…she works so hard to help others, now she needs others to help her….til she’s on her feet again, then she will be full of life and song once more….but i think angels must get down and bluesy when they do their best to help folks, and still things don’t always turn out well ….. just my pov….. bring on the sunshine i say !!! lol
