there is a gallery for artists, like a co-operative (or there was) down near the Jetty at Coffs…do you know of it?

you have to be sort of famous to get stuff shown there

We have to go there for class and right lots of stuff about exhibitions they have on there. They usually only have one artist at a time to my knowledge and from all around the country

  • oh right, well, when it first began i think they were showing local talent, and it was more of a co-operative…such a shame it’s gone that way…you also have the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery there? I used to work across the road from it!!! (it wasn’t there when i was working there tho) ….years ago my husband and i met in the back lane behind there…i was working in the Regional Office of the State Bank of NSW and he was a scientist working in Pathology in a little house (Sullivan & Nicolaides) I believe it’s all gone now tho…..I used to live out near the “Hoey Moey” pub and be down the beach all the time there…ah those were the days :)

Its the kind of stuff that you have to sit a long time and contemplate the meanings if you get my drift..

  • yeah, that would put you off a bit..never mind :(
