How beautiful. I am drawn to this one with its clear, brighter coloring, and her fine, porcelain skin. Love her sweater, the texture in it, and the crocheted rosette at the top of her strap. Your details always enchant me, Karin. Take, for instance, that delicate string she wears as a necklace— it’s perfection; and the striking highlights of the birdie’s nest— how they echo the lights in her hair. The butterflies are as stained glass, and that little chipmunk adds the “awww”-factor.

  • aw thank you so much Frannie, I’m so happy you like it, I would like a poncho like this, my mum used to crochet and knit them for myself and one of my girlfriends, Lisa. Lisa actually looks a bit like this girl does…she had long blonde hair and blue eyes, very pretty. I still have my first poncho (pink and grey with pom poms and tassels) put away in a cupboard somewhere for safe keeping. I put the image through a filter, after I’d painted it in Procreate, and played with it in Photoshop, just to achieve a richer appearance and was really happy with the effect I got using Nik Color FX. xx
