the colors is beautiful.. i can’t think of a better word really.. you blended the blues and browns and reds just perfectly.. i feel like touching the lashes.. they’re beautiful.. but the eye seems guarded.. i feel like, i wish i can make it more happy.. though it’s beautiful as it is, i still wish to see it happy.. will you be making a piece with a pair of these eyes as a print? there’s like so much mystery.. i don’t even know how to describe.. but it makes me wonder.. where did you get the inspiration to draw this beauty from~ X)

  • Karin Taylorcommunity helper replied

thank you so much fa…you know i think it comes from me feeling insecure about drawing eyes and just drawing again, it’s been a while since i worked hard on faces….to do the detail….so I think it’s stemming from a need in me to practice getting eyes right, and then i thought how lovely eyes are just on their own, so i thought i’d just give that a go….maybe then i shall practice noses, and then lips!! lol

Very artistic cool, Karin!! There’s so much depth and soul in the eye, love the mysterious feel to it too!! :D

  • Karin Taylorcommunity helper replied

thank you so much Ellen…..i’m so happy you like this, it reminds me of a fawn’s eye with the long lashes and elegant beauty…i was surprised i came up with it….i was tearing my hair out a lot in the creation ;)
