Tang Court Trio came about through my research on the history and culture of the Chinese people. During the Tang period in China, art, literature and music flourished, and female musicians were in abundance. I find their traditional garments beautiful, artworks in themselves.

...to be honest udonchow, i tend to mix the cultures and traditional dress codes up a bit, and it confuses everyone….i did do the Little Angels and they are more of a Korean style..as is the one with the girls in the wooden tub floating togther…..there is also the one called Fishing Mates…which is probably more Vietnamese, but i have just classified them all under ‘asian’ ..... i hope that’s okay….. i don’t want to offend anyone of course. I am not sure what the Thai trad dress looks like, or much about that culture yet. These were inspired by chinese history from a beautiful book i have called ‘Adorning the Empress’.... from memory Thai ladies have beautiful costumes, and long fingernails…they do beautiful hand movements and train all their lives for this honour.?? I must learn more…!!! Thank you so much :D

Karin, it’s ok, not confused :D You can classify all of them under Asia because indeed, they are all in Asia :D Yes, the thais have very elaborate costumes, yes, the golden fake long fingernails and heavy headgear…you often see this during traditional thai dance performances.
