Happy Challenge
... very excited because voting begins now for the Happy Challenge
Many of my friends have entered the Happy Challenge so many in fact, that I don’t know who to vote for, so I voted for many!!!!! and I guess many of you are feeling the same way!!! So I’d just encourage you to go and visit the Happy Challenge Gallery of entries and enjoy browsing through all the wonderful entries…. and choose the one/s you love best by giving it/them your stamp of approval with your votes… my entry in the Happy Challenge is Affirmation

Hi vicki, yeah, there are just so many i love, so i’m voting for all of ‘em :) x
the only problemo there is, that if you vote for a lot then i guess the votes sorta cancel other votes out… if you know what i mean? so you definitely can vote more than once, i certainly did :) x

yeah, i think it will Stretch :).... yes, a bit muggy, not too bad tho…. i think i’d better go and have a bit of lunch!! I’m working on my other painting at the moment…and boy is there a lot of work i gotta do on it :) .... not even half way there yet.. x

Karin, that has to be one of the best selections for a challenge that I have ever seen. Every possible style and type of art seems to be represented, plus a ton of great new ideas that I wish I had thought of. A pretty hefty chunk of off topic entries too (never fails). This should be a good one though.

yeah, i didn’t see an entry from you mobii? for me, it’s a really special challenge, i don’t have any problem with winning or losing, i would just so love to be part of the Happy Film…that’s all I’m hoping for…but you know what, i met heaps of lovely people that i never would have met, had this challenge not brought them out of the woodwork, and that’s the best part… inspiring, being inspired, having fun…etc, etc. :)

I didn’t enter K. My brother and niece came for a short visit, and I am having my kids at school do an English/Art project. I will make a t-shirt on RB for the top 3 winners. I have been busy trying to choose the finalist with Poom, the art teacher. I agree with you concerning the talent flood. I saw so many entries that made me want to ask a lot of questions about. Truly inspiring. Oh, and I also had to go to Bangkok last week to get my 90 day visa stamp. That was cool though, because I finally got some McDonalds, and new underwear. A good day indeed I say!

wow Sarah, well it was 7 hours ago…it’s now 5.46pm… sooooooo – the sale would have happened at around 11.15am….is that enough synch for you!!!!???? ... pretty weird that huh… have fun voting, i really loved going through all the entries… you get to see something of the real person with each one, it’s just fabulous :) xxx

oh, why didn’t you leave your other selfportrait? oh well i suppose it’s very personal. I thought it was very deep and touching the other one, but maybe it is because i’m starting to know you a little. that’s not to say this one is wonderful of course ;-))

Hi Sonia, well…that’s a tuff question, and like you said, it’s so personal…i can’t really articulate why… I felt it wasn’t up to scratch to be honest… i did it, was proud of it…then i faltered and thought no… i need to do something from the heart. I struggled so much with the portrait looking true to myself, so I guess I wasn’t completely happy with it…. it’s one of those paintings, that half the time you think it’s good and then you see so many flaws…if you know what i mean? So i went back to doing something that was more measured, more in my particular style…but im so glad you still liked the other one Sonia ;) x

Just voted for your entry and 4 nice vector-based entries. I went back and had another read of the instructions and realised that, although I had the proportions right, I hadn’t centred my face in the image. What a dingbat! :-)

thank you so much but o bummer Matt… i voted for your entry, it’s one of the best in my opinion. I entered 3 different times…and in the end chose that purple affirmation one. I sorta did so, as I wasn’ happy with other 2, but also i felt they didn’t fit the template properly. I know someone else’s was removed from the challenge, but a few remained in the challenge, i don’t know what’s happening there… i still luv yours very much…damn shame about it not being centred.. I think you could fix, but now the challenge is closed… maybe you can do another one and load it up, just in case, so if it gets selected they can still animate you!! bummer tho :(
