I loved creating this piece, the design aspects are colour are strong, and it is reminiscent of a design on a dress that my mother made for me, actually we had mother and daughter dresses in the same material and wore them out on special occasions….

i was over at sydney last winter.. i was so suprised to see so many people at the beach still!! O_O” guess am too used to the annoyingly hot singapore weather.. i’d always look in awe when i see swimmers or joggers during winter.. love this piece.. warm yet gentle color tones.. i love the brolly most~ hehe..

thanks frozenfa…yes, people still swim here in the winter time…it’s fairly mild, although can get a bit nippy, specially out west :) this is one of my own special favs :) i’m glad you like it

Hehe.. i was there last yr for a short holiday.. didn’t expect to get hit by the stormy weather on the first day.. lolz~ As for why sydney for holiday, it’s because on my first trip there, the year before, i was so busy preparing presentation, i didn’t get to see sydney properly.. n_n” and now i miss that place already!!

oh really, so you liked Sydney by the sounds of that….it’s a bit too rushed for me, i like it in the country better….but Sydney can be so much fun for a holiday…so much to see and do, so many wonderful places to visit, etc. Do you think you will be coming to Australia again? It would be great to see you in person!!!

I live in the same state as Sydney is in, but it’s about an hour in the plane to get to me (or 10 hours drive)....we live at Lennox Head which is near Byron Bay (you can google it, or you could ‘google earth’ it to have a look). We live near the beautiful Seven Mile Beach….it’s wonderful!
